The next Blues Session at the Hope Tavern on Sunday, April 6, sees the annual return of top London Blues/Rock Band Roadhouse, on a rare foray North of the capital which includes headlining the Skegness Rock and Blues Festival.

Having built a close relationship with the Tavern audience over the years, this has become a regular annual visit and always proves a popular event with this “big stage” band squeezing into the intimate surrounds of the Hope.

One of the UK’s most established, Roadhouse is a collaboration between experienced Blues/Rock musicians and much younger, talented pool of female vocalists, notably Mandy G, and led by acclaimed song writer, guitarist and singer, Gary Boner.

Signed to Blues Matters/Cross Border records, they have released 11 critically acclaimed CDs and are generally regarded as generating some of the best original material in the UK.

The band has developed a sound all of its own - ‘Southern Gothic Americana’ with a splash of added South London.

The Hope gig starts at 4pm and the door charge is £8.
