Worksop: Health club pledge to help cancer patients ‘look better, feel better’ by fundraising for charity group

Bannatyne’s Health Club in Worksop is supporting cancer charity Look Good Feel Better’s annual fundraising campaign, Feel Better Week, with a series of fundraising events.

The club in Retford Road will join the other 60 Bannatyne’s Health Clubs in an attempt to raise £10,000 for the national cancer support charity this June.

Feel Better Week events include a coffee and cake morning on June 3rd, a ‘glamorous spinathon’ on June 6th and a Yogathon on June 7th.

Look Good Feel Better run free confidence-boosting skincare and make-up workshops across the UK, helping women and teenagers combat the visible side effects of cancer treatment.

As the charity celebrates their 20th anniversary year they are encouraging all supporters to get behind Feel Better Week and make it a huge success.

Last year, The Bannatyne Group pledged to support Look Good Feel Better by hosting LGFB Masterclasses.

Each Masterclass sees volunteer make up consultants show women undergoing cancer treatment how to use cosmetics to help cope with the appearance-related side effects, such as loss of eyebrows and eyelashes.
