From Thursday December 8, health and fitness members and booking card holders will be able to book online for group fitness classes and a range of sports hall activities at The Pods.

Through North Lincolnshire Council’s online booking portal, members will be able to book places on their favourite classes at The Pods, anytime of the day or night, up to eight days in advance.

To access the portal, visit www.northlincs.gov.uk/thepods from Thursday 8 December 2016.

First time users will have to register using their unique leisure card number and email address. Once registered, you can log in from a computer or mobile device and book your classes or activities.

If you book any activities not included in your membership, you can easily pay for them online using your debit or credit card.

If you need to cancel a group fitness class you have booked at The Pods, you can simply email your name, leisure card number, class, date and time to cancelaclass@northlincs.gov.uk.

Cllr Carl Sherwood, cabinet member for Health and Wellbeing at North Lincolnshire Council, said:

“We can often struggle to fit exercise around our busy lifestyles so we want to make it even easier to book your fitness classes or activities at a time to suit you. With our new online booking system, there’s no need to pick up the phone or even wait until the centre is open – you can book whenever you want.

“If for whatever reason you need to cancel a class at The Pods, we’ve made it easier to do that too. Just send us an email with your details and we’ll do the rest.

“If you usually use one of our other leisure centres, please bear with us – we’ll be rolling out online booking to all our centres early next year.”

If you do not have a leisure membership card, please contact the customer service desk at The Pods to purchase one of our excellent value Health and Fitness membership packages, a booking card, or for a replacement card.

Online booking will be made available at Ancholme Leisure Centre, Baysgarth Leisure Centre, and Epworth Leisure Centre and Riddings Pool in turn. All sites will have online booking by early summer 2017.
