The event takes place this Saturday, March 19, from 11am to 4pm and everyone is invited to go along and give a helping hand.

Staff members are celebrating the charity’s 25th anniversary by putting in around 200 new saplings, which have been donated by the Woodland Trust.

“Tupholme Abbey is an important historic site,” said Beverley Gormley, Heritage Lincolnshire’s site manager.

“We’re inviting people from the local community and further afield to come along to help us on Saturday.

“We’d love to see you there – just remember to bring your own spade, wellies, hats and gloves!”
