CORONAVIRUS: Figures released Sunday show another increase in deaths in Lincolnshire hospitals

Eight more people with coronavirus have died in Lincolnshire Hospitals, figures released yesterday show.

The total to deaths recorded in United Lincolnshire Health Trust hospitals where patients have tested positive for the virus now stands at 53.

The total number of cases confirmed in the trusts hospitals is now 413.

Nationally, there have been 84,279 cases confirmed cases and 10,612 deaths.

These figures were released by the NHS on Sunday afternoon.

The Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust - which has hospitals in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole – recorded four more deaths, bringing its total to 22.
