Female trio The Glamophones bring their classy close harmonies to The Crossing in Worksop at the end of the month.
Without seeking to be a tribute band, the Birmingham-based retro group are inevitably compared very favourably with The Andrews Sisters and The Beverley Sisters.
After an appearance on a BBC1 TV show, host Alexander Armstrong said of their performance “such panache.”
Kate, Laura and Carrie-Anne – with their beautiful harmonies, vintage replica dresses and great musical arrangements will present a fascinating and high quality programme of songs from the 1940s up to today.
They are at The Crossing on Saturday, October 31 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £8 (£4 under-16s) from The Crossing’s Welcome Desk, on 01909 475421 or firstname.lastname@example.org
