Hugh Cornwell, the oringinal singer and guitarist with legendary British punk band The Stranglers, will perform at The Plowright Theatre in Scunthorpe this month.

As the original guitarist, singer and main songwriter in The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwell enjoyed massive success with 10 hit albums and 21 top 40 singles, etching himself into Europe and the USA’s musical psyche as the voice of such classic songs, as Peaches, No More Heroes, Golden Brown, Always the Sun and Duchess.
Cornwell himself was at the front of the band for 16 years from 1974 until 1990 .
He is at the Plowright Theatre on Friday, November 20.
