A SPOOKY sensation is coming to the region next month and The Gainsborough Standard has two tickets up for grabs.

Gordon Smith is said to be one of Britain’s top mediums and spiritual teachers.

There has long been a tradition in folklore that the seventh son of a seventh son is blessed with extraordinary gifts – and Gordon Smith is said to certainly meet the bill.

Born in Glasgow, the seventh son of Samuel Smith, Gordon says he has been seeing, sensing and hearing spirits since early childhood.

But after observing the disquiet his gift aroused in those around him, he closed his mind to it until, at the age of 24, he awoke to find a friend’s brother standing at his bedside; he later learned that the brother had died in a fire that night. The visit spurred him to start over 15 years of study and practice to develop his abilities as a medium, or messenger from the spirit world, under the tutelage of some of the legendary figures in the spiritualist church.

Many years later, Gordon Smith claims to be one of the world’s top mediums and spiritual teachers in the UK, conducting mediumship workshops and events around the globe.

Through these he has established a reputation for being one of the UK’s most accurate mediums, renowned for pinpointing exact names and places as opposed to offering vague generalisations.

His Beyond Belief tour offers the opportunity to meet the man who has captivated audiences worldwide with his astonishing gift, delivering messages from spirits with his distinctive mix of down-to-earth humour, passionate commitment and compassion for others. Gordon Smith will be appearing at Lincoln’s Theatre Royal on Wednesday 2nd February. Tickets are £19.50 and available by calling the box office on 01522 519999 or by booking online over at
