Indian stars Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak present Vikram Seth’s Beastly Tales at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre this weekend.

The Beastly Tales are universal stories of great poetry; exploring the truth about love, loss and life.

Familiar characters take their place beside a newly minted gallery of individuals who are quirky, witty and fun.

Meet the greedy crocodile who was outwitted by the monkey, and the steady tortoise who out-ran the hare.

Naseeruddin Shah is an Indian film and stage actor and director, and a prominent figure in Indian parallel cinema.

He has won numerous awards in his career, including three National Film Awards, three Filmfare Awards and an award at the Venice Film Festival.

Ratna Pathak is a star of film and TV is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Maya Sarabhai in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.

The event is on Saturday, October 8 at 7.30pm and tickets are £15 and £13 (£5 Live Pass) on 01522 837600 or
