A right load of nonsense is heading to Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre this month as Robert Webb and Jason Thorpe star in Jeeves & Wooster in Perfect Nonsense.
A new tale adapted from the works of PG Wodehouse, the play was named Best Comedy at the 2014 Olivier Awards.
When a country house weekend takes a turn for the worse, Bertie Wooster is unwittingly called on to play matchmaker, but also to steal a silver cow creamer from Totleigh Towers.
Naturally, the ever dependable Jeeves is there to prevent Bertie from making a fool of himself in front of a cast of Wodehouse’s finest characters.
The play runs from 16th to 21st February at 7.45pm each night plus matinees at 2pm (Wednesday) and 3pm (Saturday).
Tickets priced £11-£24 are available from the box office on 0114 2496000.
