Villagers are playing a live date at the Glee Club in Nottingham on 26th April.
The solo project of Irish singer-songwriter Conor O’Brien, the gig and UK tour it is part of, are in support of Villagers’ third album, Darling Arithmetic.
O’Brien started Villagers in the late 2000s, when he started writing his own material after the break-up of his band the Immediate.
However, he soon realised that to re-create his ideas live he would need a band, so he recruited Tommy McLaughlin, Danny Snow, James Byrne, and Cormac Curran.
Advance tickets for his Nottingham date are £14, and available from glee.co.uk or through the box office on 0871 4720400.
