A BARN-STORMING tribute to one of the biggest bands in rock is coming to Gainsborough this month to set the Sands on fire.
The Kings of Lyon are widely known as the best, the most accurate and vibrant tribute to the Kings of Leon in the world.
Not only that but their appearance at The Sands is also an opportunity to get a glimpse of the band before they headline this summer’s Gainsborough Fake Festival.
A spokesman said: “The Kings of Lyon exploded onto the scene at the beginning of 2009 and have been propelled to the top of the tribute ladder with panache and a youthful vibrancy that secured them a string of festival dates throughout Europe and the UK’s foremost music venues along with high accolades in magazines and a massive UK following.”
Not only do they sound like the real thing, they look like them too and deliver the same firey energy in their performance that made the Kings Of Leon rise to world superstardom with tracks like Sex On Fire, Use Somebody, Radioactive, The Bucket, Molly’s Chambers, Charmer, On Call and many, many more.
Top tribute act the Kings Of Lyon will be appearing at The Sands, Gainsborough on Friday 25th February.
Doors open at 7pm with performances normally starting between 9-9.30pm.
Tickets are £10 and available by visiting The Sands box office or calling 01427 811118.
