A STAR of the organ music world will be performing a special homecoming concert for the Gainsborough Organ Society this month.
Joanne Naulls wowed the society at her last performance two years ago.
Since then, she has been performing for other societies around the county - including London, Newcastle, Blackpool, Carlise, Hastings and many more.
Having played full-time as a professional organist since leaving school, Joanne has been crowned ‘The Queen of Hammond’.
A society spokesman said: “Whilst many of the instruments nowadays are classed as orchestral instruments, Joanne has always been a huge Hammond fan - which has a rich, traditional organ sound.”
“Whilst many people have seen her playing for dances locally, it is a rare experience to see her in concert.”
He added: “She will also be playing the society’s own Hammond organ during her performance.”
Joanne Naulls will be performing at the Weston Rooms on Hickman Street, Gainsborough on Thursday 28th February from 7.30pm.
