One of Britain’s most well known and distinctive comedy names, characters – and voices – Joe Pasquale bring his new live show to Lincoln later this year,
It’s 30 years since Joe burst into the public consciousness when he appeared on the ITV Talent Show New Faces.
And he is celebrating this auspicious moment with a new stand up tour entitled Joe Pasquale – A Few Of His Favourite Things.
Frequently described as a ‘comedy genius’ Joe will treat audiences to a comedic mega mix of some of his best stuff with some new surprises on the way.
Currently garnering critical acclaim for his comedic and very physical stage performance as the hapless and accident prone Frank Spencer in Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em on its debut UK theatre tour, Joe has also starred as King Arthur in Spamalot and as Leo Bloom in the touring production of The Producers, amongst others.
A regular on our TV screens – he was crowned King of the Jungle in the 2004 I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here series – he learned to skate in Dancing on Ice in 2013, hosted The Price Is Right on ITV and makes regular appearances on Tonight At The London Palladium.
Joe has also challenged himself in shows like Sugar Free Farm where he kicked his ‘sugar habit’ and taken par in shows like The Prisoner X – where he spent time in a Costa Rican prison – and Alone In The Wild, where he was shipped off to the jungles of Guyana for the Discovery Channel.
He’s also a qualified pilot and has run a London Marathon.
What he is best at, however, is making people laugh and he will be doing that at Lincoln’s New Theatre Royal on October 19.
Tickets are £23.50 on 01522 519999 or www.newtheatreroyallincoln.co.uk
