Eggbox Theatre are exploring heritage in Our Lincolnshire

Egg Box Theatre are working in partnership with the University of Lincoln to creat Our Lincolnshire, a participatory project with the local community looking at what heritage means to them.

Egg Box are looking for members of the community to join them in a creative process with the aim to find out how heritage matters to the people of Lincolnshire and help them to connect with their heritage in a creative and meaningful way.

The Egg Box professional team will be spending one full day a week in two locations over the coming weeks, to create a brand new production and rehearse it ready to be performed in front of a live audience.

One of those two locations will be the Old Nick Theatre in Gainsborough from 10.30am to 4pm every Saturday until April 2 when there will be a final performance at 6.30pm.

All that is needed to take part is an interest in theatre.

Our Lincolnshire is open to absolutely anyone no matter what age or previous experience and it’s completely free.
