Have lunch with Tolstoy at Trinity

THE POPULAR Lunchtime Literature series returns for March to offer book-lovers the chance to discuss the work of legendary Russian writer Tolstoy.

Readers are invited to meet one of Tolstoy’s most intriguing heroines Anna Karenina.

Anna is a respectable married woman who has a scandalous affair with the dashing Count Vronsky.

Her self-destructive actions are contrasted with the story of Levn, a Tolstoy self-portrait.

So why not head over and enjoy one of the classic tales of traditional Russia already disappearing in 1877?

Dr Jane Mackay presents the March Lunchtime Literature discussing Anna Karenina by Tolstoy at Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough on Wednesday 30th March at 12pm.

Tickets are £6.50 including a hot beverage and are available by calling the Trinity Arts Box Office on 01427 676655.
