The ceremony was opened by current UK Taekwondo Academy and Golden Dragons student Joseph McManus.

Other donations were made by Quality Keys, More Than Flowers and Trax FM.

Over 20 primary and secondary schools were represented on the night, with children aged 4 to 17 awarded.

Parents and children also took part in a ‘crazy catch’ competition on stage with Tommy Harrison and Leo Stockdale winning.

Tony McManus told the Guardian: “It was a fantastic night, I left feeling very emotional and gumbled by all the kind words, comments and support, and I look forward to continuing to support children and parents for many more years to come.”

Tony added his thanks to Neil Moore, head of Carr Hill and Tim, site manager, for their gracious comments and use of the school.

S.K.Y. runs courses, parties and teaches PE in many schools.
