Last weeks Gainsborough combined clubs cycling time trial was held over the short 5.6 mile circuit near East Stockwith.

The weather proved kind with dry conditions and a light north easterly breeze, and 30 of the area’s cyclists lined up at the start line.

The shorter distance made little difference to Viking Velo’s in-form Andy Lewin who once again claimed outright victory with a winning time of 12:51.

Chris Durham of Lincsquad finished in second with 13.24, while Trent Valley rider Andy Codd took third place in 13.31.
