Trent Valley Road Club race ace Rob Webster rode to an impressive first place at the Tuesday Night Cycle Barn Time Trial League this week.
His incredible time of 25:08, on a standard road bike over the 10-mile ‘sporting course’ was quick enough to beat the club’s time trial specialists.
And it can be considered one of the best rides this season.
Other times: A. Codd 25:09, P. Brownless 25:17, James Vickers 25:20, D. Bailey 28:29, G. Parker 29:02, C. Williams 29:06, M. Overton 29:41, R. Williams 30:28.
James Vickers increased his grip The Cycle Barn Thursday Night Circuit Racing League, finishing first in the scratch race and second in the handicap.
Vickers, Webster and Addlington rode in a three man break before Vickers jumped off the front with a lap to go and rode the final lap solo to take maximum points.
Webster finished second and Adlington third.
In the handicap race Webster took first place, followed by Vickers and Adlington.
Rob Webster also had a great finish in the North East Road Race League, taking second from over 40 riders on the Monday night race held near Grantham.
Webster took 12 points to take a step closer to his second category racing licence.
