Gainsborough and Morton Striders will host their annual 10k road race this weekend.
The event will start on Walkerith Road at 10am on Sunday, with the first runners expected to finish on Field Lane around 10:31am.
This year’s road race has attracted a record sellout entry of 750 runners, and is currently ranked in the top five of its kind in the UK.
Course records are currently held by Clowne Road Runner Andy Ward (31.03) and Havering Mayesbrook AC’s Faye Fullerton (36.17).
The race will support LAM Action, a charity supporting women with a highly rare lung disease.
A club spokesman said: “We would like to thank the Morton Village Hall Committee who have kindly allowed us to use the Village Hall as the new race headquarters.”
The Striders warmed up for their home event with a visit to the Retford Half Marathon last Sunday.
