Gainsborough and Morton Striders will host their annual 5k fun run on Friday night.
The Morton Feast race starts and finishes on the top of the Trent-bank footpath, near Morton Corner.
Entries will be taken from 6 pm to 7.15pm at Morton Village Hall, and the race starts at 7.30pm.
Runners will be set off in five different groups depending on age and ability, with the fastest runners starting around five minutes or so after the first group.
Entry fees are £2 for Under 16s and £3 for adults.
U16s need to have their entry form signed by one of their parents or guardians.
Prizes will be awarded to the first 10 finishers, the first three primary and secondary school children as well as the first three teams – four to run, three to count.
The prize ceremony will take place at Morton Primary School around 8.15 p.m.
Refreshments will be available at the finish.
Entries can be made to Phil Kitchen either via email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 07460 551 275.
Volunteers are still required to act as officials and marshals.
On the racing front, Striders only had two members in action at last week’s Scunthorpe 5K parkrun.
Jack Gregory and Donna Cook both finished in 34:10.
