Cockerham wins Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club time trial

The Trent Valley Road Club rider beat Trevor Halstead (pictured) and James Green into joint second place with a time of 13 minutes seven seconds.

Dave Bedford, in fourth, improved his time along with junior Aegir member Jack Gregory.

The weather was cold with wind making riding difficult at times.

The course started on Carr Lane as the riders preceded towards East Stockwith along Carr Lane then riding through East Stockwith and Walkerith heading to Morton. It was then a sprint along Laughton Lane to finish at the junction with Carr Lane.
