Losing draw for Marshalls at home

Marshalls picked up nine points from their first Bassetlaw Cricket League Division Three game of the season.

The Middlefield Lane men hosted Bawtry, who made 246-7, as Gulrez Rehmanmade 94, and Marshalls’ Jack Senescall took 3-56.

In reply, Will Cawte top scored with 69, adding to an unbeaten 30 from Tim Sharpe, as Marshalls made 195 for 6.

Komail Abbas did the damage for Bawtry, taking 3-57.

Marshalls visit Retford II this Saturday.
