Lea Park Cricket Club’s newly formed seconds began life with a 138-run win over Woodsetts III at Roses.
After being invited to bat, Park opened with Andrew Lobley and Jake Hutchinson, who started well.
Hutchinson was first to depart, after a swift 22, bringing skipper Michael Overson to the crease.
Overson was caught behind for 27, and Lobley departed immediately after completing his 50.
Harry Street (20), Dom Bolderson (11) and Matt Saunders (10) all played well, before a cameo from tDen Law (27*) saw Lea post 196-9.
Using a pair of teenage opening bowlers, Lea restricted the batsmen.
Assisted well in the field, Bolderson removed Tyler (11), Hutchinson taking a good catch at cover, while left armer Street removed Dosanji (5).
Rick Marshall took a catch off his own bowling to remove Davies, and Hutchinson finished with 2-5.
Jim Roberts claimed two wickets in two balls to secure the victory.
