Jack Senescall put in an astonishing display of batting to help Marshalls to a victory over Wadworth.
Wadworth won the toss and elected to bowl, a decision that looked justified when they had Marshalls 9-3.
But Senescall came to the crease and with some support from others dragged Marshalls back into the game with a fantastic unbeaten 104 runs.
His innings was the mainstay in the Gainsborough side’s 142 all out.
It was then Wadworth’s turn to bat and with some great pressure from Senescall and M. Raisborough with the new ball it created some opportunities which were taken to take the score to 30-2.
Then a good partnership from Wadworth took them to 80-2 before two quick wickets from H. Cawte and Karkach applied further pressure.
At drinks J. Favill came from behind the stumps to bowl and mopped up the tail to bowl Wadworth out for 121.
