Gainsborough Trinity boss Steve Housham is already beginning to prepare for next season after his side finished their home programme in Skrill Conference North with a 3-1 victory over Histon.
Goals from Darryn Stamp, Jonathon Margetts and Mike Leary sealed the win for Gainsborough and condemned Histon to relegation.
Trinity head to leaders AFC Telford United for their final league game this weekend.
But Housham, who had hoped for a top 10 finish this campaign, is already looking towards a summer of rebuilding.
“Nothing’s been set in stone yet but I think we’ll be going with the same, if not more, next year,” he said.
“It’ll be down to me to recruit the players and see what we can get hold of.”
“I’m an ambitious manager and I wanted to do well but this season we haven’t.”
“The signs are positive that the lads want to stay but I do need to improve in certain areas.”
