Gainsborough Trinity Under 19s were beaten 3-1 by AFC Emley in Northern Alliance League Cup final.
The game was played at Ossett Albion’s ground, on a pitch that made passing football difficult.
Trinity went behind after 10 minutes when Emley capitalised on some poor defending.
James Walter whipped in a cross that eluded three of his team-mates in Trinity’s best chance of the half.
On the hour mark it was 2-0 Emley, but Trinity hit back when Josh Batty converted from the spot after he had been fouled.
The Blues, sponsored by GML Ltd, then conceced with the last kick of the game as Emley broke.
