Relegated Gainsborough Trinity signed off from the National League North with a 3-0 demolition of fellow strugglers Tamworth.

Nicky Walker poked home Alex Simmons’ fourth-minute cross to give Trinity the perfect start and the home side went on to dominate.

Captain Nathan Jarman completed their 11th win with goals either side of half-time.

First he chipped the keeper and three defenders after good work by Ashley Worsfold, before volleying in the third when Sissons’ ball was chested down by Worsfold.

Keeper Henrich Ravas completed his loan spell from Derby County with a wonder save in injury time, diving to his left to deny Rhys Sharpe a consolation goal.
