Tough trip for Millers

ROTHERHAM United face a tough away trip tonight as they travel to the Memorial Stadium to face Bristol Rovers.

The Millers will be looking to turn their form around after not winning in six games in all competitions.

The last league action saw the Millers lose 1-0 at home to Burton Albion after losing out to a early goal from Cleveland Taylor who capitalised on a defensive error.

They have now lost three consecutive games with their last win coming in the 3-1 victory over Dagenham and Redbridge at home on September 10.

After the match boss Andy Scott said he will not hesitate to change the team if he feels that certain players are not doing their jobs properly.

Scott will also still be with out defenders Mark Bradley and captain Ryan Cresswell who both are suffering from long-term injuries.

It is expected that goalkeeper Andy Warrington will keep his place in the starting line-up after performing a string of impressive saves last time out against the Brewers.

For Bristol Rovers striker Scott Rendell will be available to play as part of his month long loan at the club.

In their last match they lost 3-0 away to Oxford United and have conceded nine goals in their last three matches.

Rendell joined the club on the temporary contract from Wycombe after Rovers manager struggling for players with several out injured.

He joined Wycombe from Peterborough United last year and scored 19 goals in 43 games to help his side win promotion to League One.

Rendell also plugs the gap left by the Pirates shipping striker Jo Kuffour out on a three-month loan deal to Gillingham.

The 29-year-old has been out of favour at Bristol not playing a game since August 27 despite scoring 35 goals in 139 appearances for the club.

Currently the home team lie in 17th place and have lost two consecutive games.

A victory for the Millers could see them jump back into the play-off places but the league position will not matter to Scott as long as the team pick up the three points.
