Gainsborough Trinity face a game with massive consequences on Saturday, when they visit Bradford Park Avenue in Conference North action.

The Blues, who had their game with Harrogate called off last weekend due to a frozen pitch at the Martin and Co Arena, sit 17th in the table, eight points ahead of second bottom Avenue.

But the Yorkshire outfit have an ominous five games in hand on Trinity, making Saturday’s clash at the Horsfall Stadium an important one.

Trinity already hold a win over Bradford Park Avenue this season, having triumphed 1-0 at home on 30th August thanks to a Ciaran Toner goal.

The club are putting on a free coach for supporters, and to book a place you can call 01427 613295.

It’s getting tight in the bottom half of the Conference North table, with just seven points separating 13th placed Lowestoft Town and 20th placed Colwyn Bay.

Gloucester City took advantage of Trinity’s inaction on Saturday, moving above Steve Housham’s men with a 2-0 win over Lowestoft.

Fans, meanwhile, are advised to keep an eye on the Trinity twitter account, for details on a special Valentine’s Day competition, with match tickets on offer for the winner.
