The Blues Club will be raring to go this Saturday, after a weekend off in the Lincoln Saturday Football League.

Reigning champions, they occupy fourth place in the table, and this Saturday are scheduled to be at home, taking on strugglers Crown and Arrows.

Saturday’s visitors are third from bottom after four fixtures, having won just once so far this season.

Crown and Arrows have struggled to hit the net, scoring three goals in four games, and have also found it hard to keep the ball out at the other end, conceding 14 times.

Blues Club will hope that prolific duo Leon Shepehrd and Lee Bognar continue to score for fun.

Shepherd has five to his credit already this season, while Bognar has hit the net four times.

Tom Wellman and Joe Owen have scored two apiece for the Gainsborough club.

For Saturday’s opponents Crown and Arrows, Martin Wapplington is the top scorer with two.
