Ashton treble brings win

Dinnington Town 3

Wickersley Youth 1

TOWN stunned Wickersley as Harry Ashton opened the scoring within the first minute, following a tenacious run by Thomas Codling.

Bradley Hughes then set up Town’s second goal with a defence splitting through ball for Ashton to double his tally.

Wickersley pulled a goal back with a powerful headed finish from a corner but Ashton completed his hat-trick, heading home Greg Melbourne’s driven cross.

Man of Match went to Ashton.

Millmoor Juniors 2

Dinnington Town 7

LUKE Gee grabbed a hat-trick, and Archie Elliott a brace, as Dinnington hit seven past their hosts.

Lewis Proudman and Keegan Hubbuck got the other goals.

Norton Lees 4

Aston Swallownest 8

RITCHIE Goddard scored a first half hat-trick, and two goals from Alex Naughton made the score 5-1 in Aston’s favour at the break.

The second half was much closer, but Jack Wood (2) and Isaac Marsh replied to three goals from Norton Lees.

Dinnington Town 6

Hillsborough Pumas 0

TREBLES for Jordan Camm and Bradley Jones were enough for Town to secure victory.
