Bringing back memories

I really must congratulate The Gainsborough Amateur Operatic Society on their fantastic production of The Pyjama Game which we attended last night at the Trinity Arts Centre. It was a truly magnificent performance and together with the orchestra they offered a really good and professional show.

My wife and I saw the original West End show in London on our Honeymoon 57 years ago with that great singer Edmund Hockridge starring. It brought back many fond memories of our younger days all resurrected beautifully by the GAOS production.

We both felt that the cast, orchestra and behind the scenes operatives did a wonderful job and we extend our thanks to them.

It just shows how much talent there is in our town. Very well done.
