A host of Easter activities kicks off a busy programme of events at Marshall’s Yard with dozens of youngsters taking part in an egg hunt by Gainsborough Lions and enjoying a special Easter treats from the centre’s bouncing bunnies.

The event also coincided with the opening of Fatface with a special ribbon cutting on Saturday, March 31.

Shoppers were treated to live music in store as well as a special edition Gainsborough Fatface bag with every purchase and the chance to win vouchers.

Assistant Centre Manager at Marshall’s Yard, Charlotte Toplass, said: “It was lovely to see everyone turning out for our Easter celebrations at the weekend and it really starts our busy programme of events at the centre.

“We’ve also got our monthly Farmers’ and Craft Market on April 14, and we’re looking forward to getting in the spirit of the Royal Wedding on May 19.”

To mark the celebration there will be a screening of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day on the big screen in the Fountain area and there will also be horse and carriage rides and red, white and blue bunting.
