The number of house burglaries, shed break-ins, damage offences and thefts of vehicles increased in the north west of Worksop during September, according to a latest crime report by Nottinghamshire Police.
The document states that figures for all these crimes are higher than in September 2014.
However, reports of drug related offences and violence have decreased in this part of town.
Across Worksop north east, violence, thefts of motor vehicles, thefts from motor vehicles and drug offences were higher than September last year, but house burglaries, shed break-ins and damage offences fell.
House burglaries, thefts of motor vehicles and thefts from motor vehicles have also increased in the south of the town.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “Where people have told us about a problem area, we have increased patrols and will continue to monitor this closely.”
