Women’s World Day prayer

A DAY of prayer is to take place in Scotter as part of Women’s World Day of Prayer.

The event is an international and interdenominational day of prayer and reflection designed to show solidarity.

President of the National Committee of the Women’s World Day of Prayer Movement Jean Hackett said: “This is always an exciting day as a great wave of prayer sweeps the world, beginning when the first service is held in Tonga and continues around the world until the final service takes place, some 35 hours later, in Samoa.”

A local service will be taking place at Scotter Methodist Church on Friday 4th March at 3pm.
