ONE of the highlights of the county’s summer is just around the corner as everybody warms up for the legendary Lincolnshire Show - and the Standard has a family ticket to give away to one lucky reader.
Alongside the family attractions, local food producers and agricultural displays, there’s a Scruffts dog competition, an exciting variety of parades, top class equestrian eventing, eco-education and art exhibitions.
The show includes the best of the county’s livestock on the judging lines and all the latest trends in farming and agriculture from the top breeds to top machines, as well as the best produce from the county.
There is something for everyone on offer at the BBC Lincolnshire stand where the costumes and trophy from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing series will be rubbing shoulders with a fashion show of designs from Lincoln University students.
The Lincolnshire Show takes place at the Lincolnshire Showground, Grange de Lings on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd June.
Tickets are £18 for adults, £15 for young persons, £5.50 for children and £40 for a family of five. Tickets are available by calling 0845 230 5171 or visiting www.lincolnshireshowground.co.uk.
