The award-winning Welbeck Farm Shop, will open its doors to an Easter Farmer’s Market complete with a variety of local produce and Easter activities for children.
Taking place in the courtyard in front of Welbeck Farm Shop on Friday, March 25, and Saturday, March 26, from 10am to 5pm, there will be 18 local produce stalls to choose from including Welbeck Abbey Brewery, Stichelton Dairy, Boutique Aromatique, Welbeck Bakehouse and the School of Artisan Food, plus many more.
For the under 12’s there will be a free to enter Easter themed competition with chocolate prizes, as well as a Giant Easter Egg prize for correctly guessing the name of our Easter Bunny, with all proceeds from this competition going to charity.
The Easter Farmer’s Market has free entry and there is free parking.
Welbeck Farm Shop will also be open on both days.
Welbeck Farm Shop Manager, Oliver Stubbins, said: “The Easter Farmer’s Market is an opportunity to support local producers and find out more about their produce and why it is different to what is mass produced and sold in the supermarkets.
“Our annual Christmas market is always a highlight of the year, so we’re hoping for our Easter Farmer’s Market to be just as popular with visitors.”
As well as Welbeck’s Easter Farmer’s Market, The Harley Gallery’s current exhibitions will also be open to the public free of charge.
