It’s the Christmas advert everyone eagerly awaits and this year John Lewis has brought to our screens the friendship between Monty the Penguin and Sam - and a Gainsborough Academy student had the pleasure of starring alongside them in the advert.
Isabel Foster, 13, was chosen to star in the Christmas advert after beating 5,000 other girls for the part at an audition.
Isabel is an aspiring actress and acting is something she wants to pursue after she has finished her education.
Isabel said: “I’ve done a few acting jobs before.”
“I have an agent called Sue Francis from Creative Talents and she’s been brilliant.”
“She gets me my jobs and she got me an audition for the John Lewis advert.”
“I went to London for the audition and got a recall and it all went from there.”
“I was chosen from 5,000 girls.”
“It was a really amazing experience.”
“The crew were lovely. Everyone involved was really nice.”
