INJURIES were sustained by two pedestrians as they crossed the road outside Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough.

The police and ambulance services were called to the scene at 4.45pm on Friday 7th December where a red Peugot clipped two Gainsborough residents.

A 65-year-old woman received minor head and knee injuries and a 71-year-old man suffered a graze to the knee. Both were treated at the scene and neither had to attend hospital.

The road was blocked off at Tesco and traffic was diverted down Heaton Street until 6pm.
