Families and friends gathered at Sturton Methodist Church to celebrate Christmas in a short family service led by Karen Elvidge with Christine Bowler at the piano. Traditional carols were sung and the story of the Birth of Jesus was read by Dick Appleyard. A talk about the giving and receiving of presents was followed by everyone sharing their gifts together. The service concluded with the singing of Joy to the World.
