Concern grows for missing Ollerton man Stan Shanks as police enter their third night's search for the dad.
And now the son of the missing man has appealed for his father to return home.
Terry, speaking from the family home, said: “Dad, if you’re listening, please contact us or the police.
“We need to know that you are safe and well. All the family are here waiting for your safe return.
“We need you to be at the wedding. We all love and miss you very much.”
Stan, 78, was last seen at about 2am on Friday, April 29, in Lime Tree Road, New Ollerton.
He is white, 5ft 3ins tall and wears glasses. He is of a broad build and balding. He also has some redness on his head but he usually wears a cap.
Nottinghamshire Police continues the search alongside specialist units, Nottinghamshire Lowland Search and Rescue, the dog section and the National Police Air Support Unit.
Chief Inspector Andy Rooke said: "If you think you have seen Stan or have any information at all please get in touch with police.
"I would like to thank all the members of the community who have tirelessly helped in the search and urge people to continue to check sheds, gardens, outbuildings and green spaces."
