Battling it out with barrows were competitors in an annual Isle event.
Belton Barrow Race saw young and old alike take to the village streets, wheeling each other to the finish line.
The event was followed up with a fun day at the Crown Inn with live music into the evening.
Treasurer Simon Bradwell said: “We all had a really great day.
“The weather held, to the relief of everyone involved, we had record crowds, great races and lots of fun along the way.
“I have seen loads of great pictures of people having fun so mission accomplished.”
Competitor Paul Verrico said via Facebook: “Cracking job from the Belton race committee - village life at its finest.”
Simon added that the event had raised £500 which will go towards next year’s race, and it was hoped to organise another fundraiser over the summer months, more details to follow.
