Scotton man given a suspended sentence for having a firearm in public

A man from Scotton has been given a suspended jail sentence after he had a firearm in public without a licence.

Neil Morgan, 61, of High Street, Scotton, was committed to prison for three months, suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs. The firearm was forfeited and destroyed.
