Robber pulls knife on victim in Gainsborough

A man was threatened with a knife and had his phone and bank card stolen by a robber in Gainsborough.

The victim was walking to work, in the direction of the town centre at 7am on 18 July, when he was approached by another man on Heapham Road.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “The man, who was described as wearing a grey hooded top, with a face mask or scarf covering the lower half of his face, and riding a BMX cycle, took the victims phone, cigarettes and bank card. The phone has now been found.

“It was reported that the man produced a knife while demanding money from the victim.”
