Plans for six wind turbines at land between Saundby and Gainsborough will be on display at a public event this afternoon (Thursday).

Partnership for Renewables is holding the event at Gainsborough United Reform Church from 2pm to 7pm.

People will be able to see the proposed layout and see to-scale computer generated images showing how the turbines would look in the landscape.

Representatives from the company will also be on hand to answer any questions and concerns that residents may have.

It is thought that a formal panning application for the scheme could be submitted by the end of the year.

“We are committed to keeping people informed about the project and welcome comments and feedback,” said regional manager Jeremy Sturman.

“We look forward to speaking to local residents at our exhibitions.”
