Pensioner ‘seriously injured’ in Maltby road accident


A PENSIONER was hospitalised and left ‘seriously injured’ after she was hit by a car in Maltby on Wednesday.

A 74-year-old woman was crossing the road on Muglet Lane at around 4pm, when she was struck by an orange Daewoo.

The car was travelling from Hamilton Road towards Maltby High Street when it hit the woman.

The lady was taken to hospital with a serious fracture to her right leg.
