A PARTY atmosphere will come to Dinnington on Saturday when the carnival returns.

There will be more than 70 stalls ranging from crafts stalls to tombolas, games and plants, offering fun for all the family.

The carnival committee are hoping to bring the carnival back to Dinnington, bigger and better than ever before and are urging all residents to come along and join in with the fun.

Visitors of all ages will be able to enjoy fairground rides, go-karts, a bouncy castle, face painting and stalls selling a range of delicious food – the perfect way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon.

Various charities are also having stalls to tell you more about the work they do and to raise vital funds.

The main arena will be packed with entertainment such as belly dancers, street dancers and police dogs.

Children are being encouraged to come along to the carnival dressed up and enter the fancy dress competition.

Judging for the competition will take place around 12.50pm.

A music tent will host a variety of live bands which organisers hope will suit all tastes of music.

The carnival is being held at the Dinnington Miners Welfare, on Lodge Lane, from 12pm on Saturday 30th June.

Entry to the carnival is free and car parking is just 50p.
