Man accused of tying up Gainsborough OAP charged with four more offences

A man accused of carrying out a burglary at the home of an elderly Gainsborough man is now facing four further charges.

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that Clinton Sentance, aged 36, of Tennyson Street, Gaisnborough, was charged with an aggravated burglary at a house in Ropery Road, Gainsborough, on March 19 and a second aggravated burglary the following day at South Street, Morton. He has also been charged with two offences of robbery. He is due to appear before Lincoln magistrates to face all four charges.

Sentance appeared before Lincoln Crown Court on Tuesday, April 25, accused of an aggravated burglary at a property in Portland Terrace on the evening of March 19.

That charge follows an incident in which a 75 -year-old man reported that an intruder had tied him up. Sentance was remanded in custody until May 9.
