FUN was had by all at Hillcrest Community Infant School in Gainsborough after staff and pupils took part in a special line dancing event.
As well as doing to dosado, headteacher Tina McDonald said that dancing can also be very educational.
“We’re looking at different sports and ways of getting our kids to live healthier lives and dance is a great part of that,” she said. “Line dancing is a very thoughtful process. It helps with numeracy because they have to count the steps and it gets them listening to a different sort of music so it’s cross-curricular.”
She added: “It really made them think and was a real challenge but they absolutely loved it.”
